with SIMON EAGLE

“Life is drama, but you can choose the drama you live”

I WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO:

Are feeling a bit lost in the world, therefore confused and they are looking for some clarity, direction and support.

Are suffering from some type of anxiety, depression or mental disorder.

Feel a general sense of hopelessness.

Have gone through a traumatic life experience (child abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, physical, emotional).

Have gone through recent traumatic events: divorce, relationship difficulty/break up, or a bereavement.

ABOUT SIMON EAGLE

I have always had a real interest in people and human behaviours, as well as a natural curiosity as to where behaviours come from, how they have manifested and why we often continue to behave in certain ways. This has definitely had an impact on defining the way my professional life will take.

I have been fully qualified as a drama therapist as well as I have trained in levels 1 and 2 of Dyadic developmental psychotherapy (DDP), and I am currently undertaking the last aspect of training to become a fully qualified DDP therapist.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

WHAT IS CREATIVE ARTS PSYCHOTHERAPY

It is the potential to use all and anything creative to help bring about positive change in your life, to help express what may feel too difficult to express. It can allow you to find the words to thoughts and feelings you have not been able to previously, therefore allowing you your expression. It does not involve getting up and acting or performing if this is not for you.

WHAT IS DDP

DYADIC DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOTHERAPY is a specific therapy that helps children/people/parents/ carers/teachers/social workers understand and deal with the devasting effects developmental trauma can have on people, families and relationships.
